Japan has a long-standing culture of displaying hanging scrolls and calligraphy. However, in recent years, due to changes in housing styles and lifestyles, the opportunities to display "calligraphy" in daily life have decreased, while the culture of enjoying art and photography as interior decor has been expanding. The works of Mitsuo Aida have supported the hearts of many people with gentle words that reflect on life and human connections. To allow these words to be seen naturally in daily life and to serve as a way to calm the mind, we have commercialized them as a framed collection with a focus on design and quality. In this series, we expand the concept of Mitsuo Aida's resonant words from "reading works" to "art that colors life," proposing a new way to enjoy "calligraphy" through the unique design and framing techniques of a frame manufacturer. The modern and premium models feature award-winning frames "LEAN" (2019) and "Crates" (2024), both of which have received the Good Design Award. With sophisticated designs that enhance the works and high functionality, these frames can be enjoyed as interior decor that harmonizes with various spaces such as homes, offices, and stores.
